Cheap Fall Decor Ideas

So where to start on fall decorating? Well when it comes to me, I personally care a lot about the cost. Home decor is one of my favorite things, but I don’t want to break the bank for it. At 23, I’ve found that I have a knack for finding the perfect cheap home decor! So where do I start?

Start with Candy!

I have found that one of the things that my friends always comment on is my candy bowl. I ALWAYS have a candy bowl, but partnered with a cute fall table runner (from TJMAXX), my friends all say that it feels like home in the fall!

Fall Candles and Small Accents

What girl doesn’t love a good fall scented candle??? Anything pumpkin or cinnamon scented in the fall will put anyone in the autumn mood. My current favorite candle is the Blueberry Maple Pancake candle from Bath and Body Works. I have gotten so many compliments on how my apartment smells since I started burning this candle that I ended up getting more (with a $10 off 3 wick candles coupon obviously).

Another thing to remember is just the small accents! For this space you’re looking at, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to put on this tray. I typically have a candle there, so a fall scented candle was an obvious start. The next thing I chose was a white pumpkin. I personally love holiday decors in white because they go with everything else in your house! You won’t have to pay money each year as the rest of your home gets makeovers if your decor is universal! To finalize this, I needed to add a little bit of height to give something more aesthetically to look at. I personally own and use Tarot cards, and since it’s SPOOKY SEASON, I decided my deck would complete the look. You can pick this tarot set up on Amazon for $25 and it comes with a beginner guidebook!

Final Touches?

For my final advice on decorating your space, just remember that it’s YOUR space. Don’t think too much about making it look out of a magazine because this is in your home, the place that you live your life! Choose a few things that feel “you,” such as I did with my tarot cards. And remember, as with accessories, add all of the decorations to a space that you want to, and then remove one. Minimal is always better than clutter!

Happy Fall Y’all!
